The Microscopy Conference and the Dreiländertagung will be held jointly at Karlsruhe 31 Aug - 4 Sep, 2025. We will use this opportunity to have the next open, informal and creative discussion forum on DPC and 4D-STEM including ptychography and phase retrieval methods. In former times, the AKs of the DGE have frequently been held in the periphery of the MC, so this is a good occasion to revive this tradition, and to keep additional travel costs at a minimum. The conference organisers were so kind to reserve
Conference Room 4 from 18:00 to 20:00 on both
Sep 1 and Sep 2
for us. Should these four hours turn out to be too short, we can identify a date and location for deeper discussion in the near future then collectively. Please register here informally such that we can anticipate the number of participants and contributions. You'll need the registration key that was sent to you via Email when announcing the meeting to all being part of the DPC mailing list. In case you do not have the key, please contact me by mail (k.mueller-caspary@cup.lmu.de).
Please note the informal character of the meeting that distinguishes it from conferences - The AK DPC is mostly dedicated to discuss work in progress, perspectives, methodological opportunities and pitfalls frankly while bringing together people at any stage of their scientific career. It is quite fascinating to see the DPC and 4D-STEM field developping so rapidly in the past few years, and especially to notice that it stimulates also interdisciplinary activities bridging Physical, Materials and Life Sciences. In that respect, feel free to forward this information to all persons from those fields that could be interested.
