Nanooptics Group - Faculty for Chemistry and Pharmacy


The lecture treats the theoretical, experimental and conceptual basics of laser spectroscopy. These include the properties of laser light, the general setup of lasers and their working principles, different laser types and the generation of short laser pulses. A series of different applications are introduced, including fluorescence-, ultrafast- and non-linear spectroscopy.
